New Delhi, March 13: Two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp Thursday launched a new variant of its entry-level motorcycle Splendor priced at Rs.47,250 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The new variant — Splendor iSmart — comes with idle stop and start system technology (i3S) that helps in protective fuel.
“Our customers can love the new i3S technology that makes this motorcycle really sensible, giving them more for each drop of fuel. we’ve applied for a patent for this technology which can be later extended to many other models,” aforesaid Anil Dua, senior vice chairman, selling and sales, Hero MotoCorp.
According to the company, the new variant that was showcased at the recently command auto expo, aims at any consolidating Hero MotoCorp’s leadership position within the 100cc section.
The Splendor range of motorcycles are among the largest selling two-wheelers within the country.
