Lucknow, March 11: Stand up comedian Raju Srivastava Tuesday returned the Samajwadi Party Lok Sabha ticket to contest from Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh locution he wasn’t obtaining enough support from the native units of the ruling party.
Srivastava was given the party ticket last year and had already started his election campaign.
Sources aforesaid Srivastava was sad with the native leaders who had refused to market him and help him expand base. while the SP leadership, including party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, apparently asked him to remain place he set to quit.
A senior leader told that the party too was waiting for the comedian to decision it a day as the contest on every seat had become important.
