‘Arvind Kejriwal is AAP’s prime ministerial candidate’

0987New Delhi, Feb 15: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Saturday said it’d contest the Lok Sabha election beneath the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal, each day when he quit as Delhi chief minister.

AAP leader Yogendra Yadav said at a press conference here when a party meeting that its 1st anti-corruption rally are control Feb 23 in Haryana’s Rohtak district.

The second rally are control day in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The rally are led by Kejriwal.

Yadav even Kejriwal’s resignation Friday, saying the AAP has set a precedent as a government that’s willing to quit.

“AAP was shaped to contest election on many principles and one of the foremost thing was the Jan Lokpal bill,” he said.

“As we were not allowed (to introduce the bill) and it became clear that in this assembly, it was not possible for AAP to even introduce the bill on Jan Lokpal, the party complimented Arvind Kejriwal for taking a clear decision of resigning,” he added.

The AAP leader control a meeting Saturday morning to decide the long run course of action.

Forty-nine days when he took charge of a minority Delhi government, Kejriwal resigned Friday following a troubled day within the assembly wherever combined Congress and BJP legislators “defeated” his AAP’s attempts to introduce Jan Lokpal bill aimed to curb corruption in high places.
