Ludhiana, Dec 28: Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari Friday expressed grief over the death of a 22-year-old acid attack victim.
The victim, who was attacked whereas she was preparing for her wedding Dec 7 here, breathed her last at Mumbai’s National Burns Centre when battling for keeps for 20 days.
Tewari demanded that those liable for the wicked act be tried in an exceedingly way court in an exceedingly time-bound manner and be handed over exemplary punishment for the brutal crime, an official release aforesaid.
