Kabul, Dec eighteen: A minimum of 3 people were killed early Wed once Afghan Taliban attacked a US forces’ provide base in an eastern province of Afghanistan, sources aforesaid.

“Militants numbered four or 5 armed with suicide jackets, rocket propelled bomb (RPG) and serious weapons raided a coalition base in bordering city of Torkham in border area with Pakistan at early Wed morning,” a security supply told Xinhua on condition of namelessness.
One Afghan policeman and 2 attackers were killed and 3 policemen were injured within the attack that took place around 5.30 a.m., media quoted the Torkham officer as saying.
Security forces have cordoned off the area for precautional measures.

On Sep 2, over 40 trucks were destroyed and 3 militants were killed in a similar attack on the same base, that Taliban claimed responsibility.
