Kolkata, Dec 15: Scheduled to be inaugurated by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, the Calcutta Christmas competition starting Dec twenty here is about to inaugurate the festive spirit with food, fun and carols.
The three-day carnival would roll across Park Street, stretching 2.2 km from Free faculty Street to Camac Street crossing.
Decorated with lights, the whole space would resound with choirs and varied live acts by city-based bands, aforesaid Michael Shane Calvert, the Anglo-Indian appointive representative within the state legislature.
A variety of snacks would be on the market from twenty five food kiosks as a part of the festivities organized by Apeejay cluster and also the state touristry department.
