New Delhi: Polling was continuing peacefully in Chhattisgarh, even in areas that the govt had considerations, Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde said monday.
In Chhattisgarh situation is totally under control, there are long lines since morning,” Shinde told reporters here.
He said that even in places where we had concerns, polling is taking place smoothly.
In chhattisgarh Polling is current amid high security for the first phase of assembly polls in Chhattisgarh in eighteen Maoist-affected constituencies in Rajnandgaon and Bastar.
Maoists had given a require individuals to boycott the polls.
