Hyderabad, November 5 President Pranab Mukherjee arrived in the Andhra Pradesh capital Monday night on a two-day visit.
Pranab Mukherjee arrived at the Begumpet airport and drove to Raj Bhavan in the Andhra Pradesh governor, where President will spend the night.
Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan, N. Kiran Kumar Reddy (Chief Minister ), Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha, many union and state ministers, state legislators and MPs received the president at Begumpet airport.
Traffic was diverted on the busy road from the old airport to Raj Bhavan and Police had made tight security arrangements at the airport.
Leaders of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and YSR Congress Party can meet the president Monday night to submit memorandums over the difficulty of state’s bifurcation.
Mr Mukherjee can participate in the passing out parade of Indian Police Service (IPS) probationers at S.V.P. National academy Tuesday morning, and he will return to Delhi in the afternoon.
