Patna, November 2 BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi Saturday met the family of Rajnarain Singh, one of the six individuals killed in serial blasts that happened just before he was to address a rally here Sunday.
After meeting Singh’s kin at Kamarji village close to Gaurichak in Patna district, Modi left for Kaimur district to meet family of another blast victim, police officials said.
Modi arrived here late Fri to meet the families of those killed in a string of explosions and spent his night at the state guest house, which was virtually turned into a fortress.
“Modi’s visit to Gaurichak to meet family member of Singh was delayed because of bad weather Saturday morning. Later when the weather improved, Modi 1st visited Gaurichak,” a district police official said.
Senior BJP leader Nand Kishore Yadav said that the Gujarat chief minister conjointly interacted with the members of the family.
Modi can visit six villages spread across six districts by helicopter saturday.
Modi will pass a cheque of Rs.5 100000 to the family members of every blast victim.
