New Delhi, October 28 Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Rajnath Singh Monday said he believed the serial blasts in Patna were an act of terror.
Rajnath Singh said Monday, ” I think the incident of Patna bomb blast is due to terrorist activities,” .
Rajnath Singh said.”Definitely there were intelligence and security lapses, due to that the incident occurred,”
Six individuals were killed and over eighty injured Sunday in a string of explosions that happened at Patna train station and Gandhi Maidan shortly before BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi spoke at a rally.
Rajnath Singh lauded the individuals of Bihar for being patient.
He said that Nitish Kumar called him Sunday night and guaranteed him that action will be taken.
The government of Bihar did not follow its “Rajya Dharma” ,said Party leader Shahnawaz Hussain.
“It’s the duty of the govt. to provide security to all rallies, in spite of party organizing it.
