AMRITSAR: Border Security Force (BSF) jawans and officials celebrated the fastest century made by its brand ambassador Virat Kohil at Attari land border on Thursday.
They were joined by the thousands of visitors who had arrived at the border to witness the beating the retreat ceremony.
In September, Union minister of state for home RPN Singh and Director General, BSF, Subhash Joshi had appointed Kohli as the brand ambassador of BSF and had presented him with the force’s blazer and a flop hat.
BSF officials and jawans along with visitors danced to the tunes of popular and patriotic songs to celebrate the Virat’s triumph. On Wednesday, Virat had added another illustrious feather to his cap by hitting a century off 52 deliveries against Australia during the one day international held at Sawai Manshingh Stadium in Jaipur.
