Investigators retraced their journey from purchasing a scooter in Pune to transporting it by road to Mumbai, stopping at various points along the route, and ultimately parking it outside Vile Parle station.During the exercise, officers cross-checked the suspects’ statements against their actions at each stage. The entire reconstruction was recorded on video to serve as evidence in court. Sources say the suspects were interrogated continuously, and their statements were carefully compared to verify the details of the alleged crime.According to police sources, the actor had received a threatening voice note from someone claiming links with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, demanding money. This prompted Ranveer Singh to inform senior police officials, which in turn accelerated the investigation and led to the recreation of the crime scene. Shetty’s manager also provided a separate statement to assist in the inquiry.Financial Details And New SuspectsDuring the reconstruction, investigators uncovered new financial information. The accused revealed that after delivering the scooter to Mumbai, the main accused, Shubham Lonkar, paid them an additional Rs 11,000. Earlier reports stated Rs 40,000 had been paid, but updated details show a total of Rs 51,000 was exchanged, with Rs 30,000 used to buy the scooter and Rs 21,000 spent otherwise.Sources indicate that Praveen Lonkar, the sixth accused, is expected to be taken into custody from jail within the next few days as legal procedures progress. Meanwhile, two individuals involved in the shooting remain at large, and police continue efforts to locate and apprehend them.
