New Delhi: OM Roy highschool, Shillong, Meghalaya entered the U-17 Boys’ final whereas RMSM Vidhyalaya, Nambol, Manipur secured a spot within the girls’ title clash in the 54th Subroto Cup soccer at the Ambedkar sports stadium here on saturday.

While boys from Meghalaya shot down Army Boys, Danapur, Bihar 3-0; RMSM Vidhyalaya, Nambol, Manipur ladies romped home to a 5-1 finish over Reverend Saiaithanga Memorial faculty, Aizawl, Mizoram.

Although Meghalaya boys groups have won the U-17 title in earlier editions, this can be the primary time that this specific faculty team can seem within the title clash. The clash between Army Boys Associate in Nursingd Meghalaya was an exciting, quick paced one. each groups were equally matched though the taller, stronger Army Boys enjoyed respectable physical advantage over the smaller however faster Meghalaya players.

In the girls’ section, RMSM Vidhyalaya engaged a spot within the final with a simple 5-1 win over Reverend Saiaithanga Memorial faculty. the women from Manipur didn\’t face an excessive amount of trouble from their rivals and a hat-trick from D Grace in the half and another few goals by Ratanbala Devi when the break were enough to check them through.
