MODI-MUNew Delhi, Aug 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday praised Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav for supporting an finish to the continuing logjam in parliament.

The move came a day once Mulayam Singh bust ranks with opposition parties and wanted a discussion to finish the logjam.

“The prime minister has expressed feeling towards Mulayam Singh,” union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy sent Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement once a gathering of the BJP’s parliamentary party.

The Samajwadi Party on Monday assured Speaker Sumitra Mahajan that it might not join the protests led by the Congress within the Lok Sabha.

“You need to ensure that the house functions. this is happening because you have got not spoken to anybody,” Yadav had said.

Rudy said the prime minister felt the house was being stalled to thwart the country’s growth.

“The prime minister said he feels the top of the session shows that there are some people who are exploitation parliament to prevent growth and development,” Rudy said.

The monsoon session of parliament, set to finish this Thursday, has been marred by protests by the Congress.

The Congress has been demanding  External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj’s resignation for allegedly serving to former IPL chief Lalit Modi, who is wanted by the social control board.
