Goa’s Art and Culture minister Dayanand Mandrekar’s assertion on Wednesday, when he mentioned that ladies are so immersed in TV serials, that they neglect to make tea or enquire about their husbands, who return weary from work, has triggered controversy.

“Women are so focused on watching these serials, that after they begin watching them within the evenings, they don’t even take note of their husbands who come house after an extended day at work,” Mandrekar stated whereas talking at an awards operate organised by the state Arts and Culture ministry in Panaji on Wednesday.
