Chandigarh, July 27, : Delhi Aam Aadmi Party legislator Naresh Yadav was on Wednesday despatched to judicial custody until August 1 by a Punjab court in reference to a Quran sacrilege incident last month when Delhi AAP lawmaker despatched to judicial custody.

The Punjab Police had arrested the AAP legislator from Mehrauli space whereas addressing the media at his Delhi office. The arrest got here after the Malerkotla courtroom issued arrest warrants for Yadav.

The police had questioned Yadav for over eight hours on July 9 in reference to the Quran desecration incident on June 24 when Delhi AAP lawmaker despatched to judicial custody.

The AAP lawmaker was booked as a “mastermind” within the Quran sacrilege conspiracy following alleged revelations by one of many accused arrested within the case.
