New Delhi, May 7 : Amid a political slugfest between the Samajwadi Celebration and BJP over the water disaster in Uttar Pradesh, particularly in drought-hit Bundelkhand area, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Yadav mentioned with the prime minister the drought and water-scarcity scenario that has badly hit the state and apprised him concerning the work finished by his authorities for farmers and drought affected areas.
