TELEPNew Delhi, Sep 10: The telephone links in the flood-affected areas of Jammu and Kashmir are expected to be restored  in a day or 2, Minister of State within the Prime Minister’s workplace Jitendra Singh aforesaid Wed.

“I am in-tuned with the state administration and also maintaining an everyday individual contact with the deputy commissioners of the affected districts. The breakdown of communication and telephone links are expected to be restored  in a day or 2,” Singh aforesaid in a statement.

Reassuring the relatives of these stranded within the flood-hit regions of the state, he aforesaid there was “no need to panic”.

Singh, who may be a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir, aforesaid he has additionally obsessed the difficulty of providing additional relief material with the ministry of home affairs and the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).

“So far, over 76,500 individuals are saved by the soldiers and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), whereas the remaining also are within the method of being shifted out from the places wherever they’re delayed,” he said.
