Rahul Gandhi reaches out to Bengal jute mill workers

RAHUL-JIRishra (West Bengal), June 06: With a number of jute mills closing down in West Bengal going thousands of people jobless, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi met the employees and guaranteed them he would raise the difficulty in parliament.

On a day’s visit to the state, Gandhi visited the Wellington Jute Mills complicated in Hooghly district and interacted with nearly two hundred mill employees.

He amid state Congress president Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, and Rajya Sabha member Pradip Bhattacharya among others.

He detected the issues} and problems faced  by the employees, and secure to boost the difficulty in parliament.

“I am with you all whether you’re a jute mill employee, a farmer or belong to the weaker section of the society. Where you may see weak people you may notice Rahul Gandhi standing beside them,” he told the employees.

“It isn’t concerning jute mill employees. Guarantees are created and broken. I had return here to speak to jute mill employees. I will raise the difficulty in parliament,” Gandhi later told the media.
