New Delhi, June 9: President Pranab Mukherjee Mon aforesaid that by the time the state completes seventy five years of its independence in 2022, each family in India can have a pucca (brick and cemented) house with water connection and toilet facilities.

He aforesaid the govt. would empower Panchayati raj establishments to improve life in rural areas.

As part of the government’s commitment to making sure hygiene, waste management and sanitation, it’ll launch “Swachh {bharat|India|Republic of India|Bharat|Asian country|Asian nation} Mission (Clean India Mission)”, additionally paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th birth day of remembrance to be celebrated within the year 2019.

“By the time the nation completes seventy five years of its independence, each family can have a pucca house with water association, rest room facilities and 24×7 electricity offer,” Mukherjee aforesaid whereas addressing the joint sitting of each homes of parliament.

“We should not tolerate the insult of homes while not bogs and public areas full of garbage. For guaranteeing hygiene, waste management and sanitation across the nation a ‘Swachh India Mission’ will be launched,” adscititious Mukherjee.
