Mumbai, Feb 10: Gandhian activist Anna Hazare Tuesday extended his “best wishes” to his recipient and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal as his party headed for a landslide win within the Delhi assembly election.
“I extend my best wishes to Kejriwalji,” Hazare told journalists at his village Ralegan Siddhi in Maharashtra.
Kejriwal became a home name once he was a key aide to Hazare once the latter launched a fast at the Ramlila Maidan in Delhi in 2011 in support of a Lokpal Bill.
Hazare urged Kejriwal “not to forget that ‘andolan’ (struggle) whether or not you’re the chief minister”.
He aforesaid Kejriwal attained people’s trust by participating in this anti-corruption agitation. “That is why he got most support currently. I urge him to not build the mistakes he committed earlier.”
Hazare conjointly criticized the Narendra Modi government for enacting a legislation that creates it simple for authorities to require over land from the farmers.
