Jammu, Aug 20: The Pakistan Army violated the ceasefire by resorting to wanton firing at Indian positions on the road of management in Jammu and Kashmir, a politician aforesaid Wed.

“The Pakistan Army resorted to wanton firing at our positions in Hamirpur sector throughout the night,” defence representative colonel Manish Mehta told here.

He aforesaid the firing in Rajouri district of the Jammu region started around 9 p.m. local time Tues and continuing till 9.20 p.m.

“Our troops retaliated effectively victimization small arms and automatic weapons,” the spokesperson aforesaid.

He aforesaid no casualty or harm has been reportable on the Indian facet so far.
