Obama to arrive 10 a.m. Sunday

OOBNew Delhi, Jan 22: US President Barack Obama can arrive here at ten a.m. Sunday, and bilateral talks will be control identical day, the external affairs ministry aforesaid Thursday.

Union Power Minister Piyush Goyal will be the minister-in-waiting.

“We see the visit of President Obama as strengthening our ties across the complete spectrum of our relationship,” external affairs ministry advocator Syed Akbaruddin aforesaid.

Bilateral discussion between India and the US will be command Jan twenty five, followed by a banquet hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In the evening Jan twenty five, President Pranab Mukherjee can host a banquet.

On Jan twenty six, Obama can participate within the Republic Day parade, and Jan twenty seven he’s scheduled to visit the Taj Mahal in Agra.

“We have had 9 dialogue conferences within the past four months. Visit of the US president is a qualitative reinvigoration of our ties since our prime minister’s visit to the US in Sep 2014,” Akbaruddin aforesaid.

The advocator added  that Indian and also the US negotiators are operating in a cooperative manner on nuclear liability problems.

“The discussions are presently happening in London. this is the third time that the contact cluster is meeting in last four months. Earlier meeting had taken place in Vienna,” he said.
