Modi to address rally in Bundelkhand

Narender.ModiBJP minister Narendra Modi will address a rally called Vijay Shankhnaad on Friday in Jhansi of the Bundelkhand region, that has been long thought of a bastion of the SP and BSP.

The rally, 313 kilometer from here, is that the second in Uttar Pradesh out of the proposed 9 rallies by year finish. it’s aimed at not only influencing voters in the four parliamentary constituencies of the Bundelkhand region, however also in districts like Guna,Panna, Datia, Shivpuri,and, Chatarpur Teekamgarh in Madhya Pradesh that visit polls next month.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders say Modi are “seeking account” of the Rs.7,200 crore package given to Bundelkhand region by the central government at the behest of Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi.

 

“Despite the Congress hype of political focus and monetary help to this area, it sadly contributes for the maximum farmer suicides in the state. each the Congress and Samajwadi Party (SP) try and fool the poor people of this region by mere lip service” he added .

Out of the four Lok Sabha seats in the region – Jalaun, Hamirpur, Banda and Jhansi, the BJP holds no seat, whereas the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) 2 seats and the Samajwadi Party (SP) no seats each.

The rally at the GIC grounds in Jhansi also will see party leader Uma Bharti and former UP chief minister Kalyan Singh, who earlier this year merged his regional party with the BJP.
