Patna, Feb 20: Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi Fri aforesaid he has quit, adding he ought to have “resigned before”.
Manjhi aforesaid that he didn’t get respect as chief minister.
“I should have quit before,” aforesaid Manjhi shortly when he met Governor Keshri Nath Tripathi here Fri.
“I have submitted my resignation letter to the governor,” he added.
An official told that Manjhi met the governor before the trust vote he facedĀ later within the day.
Manjhi aforesaid that legislators had received threats to their lives.
