Expelled AAP legislator Binny calls off hunger strike

binny2New Delhi, Jan 27: Expelled Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislator Vinod Kumar Binny called off his fasting Monday, a few hours after declaring that he would protest against the Delhi government.

“We are giving 10 days’ time to the Delhi government. If the demands aren’t met, we’ll lunch a movement against the Aam Aadmi Party,” Binny told reporters whereas also announcing that he has decided to decision off his fasting.

Earlier, he began his fast at Jantar Mantar in central Delhi, accusive the Delhi government of not implementing the Aam Aadmi Party’s pre-poll promises.

He was expelled from the party Sunday evening, about 10 days after he turned rebel and aired his grievances to the media.

The AAP’s disciplinary committee Sunday terminated even his primary membership of the party.
