AJAY RAIVaranasi, May 12: Ajay Rai, Congress candidate from Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi parliamentary constituency, Mon courted contention once he walked into a place to vote with the party symbol tucked on his kurta.

Election law bans the utilization of any party image among 100 metres of the poll station. officers within the district say the Congress candidate had so profaned the law.

Dressed in a cream colored kurta and payjama, Rai walked into the polling place early within the day to forged his vote.

He was amid his wife and he spoke to reporters among ten metres of the place, that once more is a breach of law.
