New Delhi, May 29: Actress Zareen Khan says she does not know what “item” songs imply and why the time period is even used.

Zareen, who shook a leg with celebrity Salman Khan in “Character dheela” from the movie “Ready”, has been praised for her attractive avatar within the newest promotional music “Khallas Veerappan” from filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma’s film “Veerappan”.

“Properly I did ‘Khallas’ as a result of it is considered one of my favorite songs. I used to be very comfortable that I had the chance to recreate the magic of ‘Khallas’… As for item songs, I do not even know what which means and why the term ‘item’ is used for a music,” Zareen informed.

The “Hate Story three” actress says such songs ought to be referred to as “promotional or particular” as they’re achieved by somebody, who is just not a part of the movie.

“Name it a promotional or a particular track because it’s carried out by somebody who’s not a part of the film. And other people have a tendency to love these particular songs added in movies so I assume it is nice,” she added.
