Chennai, May 05: Two- and three-wheeler maker TVS Motor Company can begin rolling out bikes for German car major BMW throughout the last half of next year, a high company official aforesaid Monday.
The company will launch new merchandise to stock up the vacuum in its product line-up.
Speaking regarding the tie-up with the German cluster, Venu Srinivasan, chairman and director of TVS Motor, told newsmen: “It will be prepared within the last half of next year. it’ll be fresh platform for the BMW.”
Last year TVS Motor and BMW signed an agreement to together develop motorcycles within the 250-500cc vary to be sold through their various distribution network.
The company has invested with around Rs.150 large integer for the project and can be exploitation its existing and new trafficker base for creating the bikes.
Meanwhile, launching the company’s new Star town and 110cc bike priced at Rs.44,000 (ex-showroom New Delhi), Srinivasan aforesaid the corporate are introducing new merchandise in bikes likewise as scooter section quarterly to stock up its line.
