SAMNew Delhi, May 10: Samsung India’s country head for mobile phones and digital imaging Vineet Taneja had quit the company this week, according to business sources.

However, Samsung in its official statement said: “Samsung doesn’t inquire into rumours or speculation.”

There has been speak within the business for many months that Taneja would resign. Taneja, who had return from Bharti Airtel, was responsible of mobile phones division for over a year currently.

During late 2013 Samsung India has revamped its high management with South Korean executives taking complete management of the highest deck.

It appointed S.K. Kim because the new managing director of the India business, with a mandate to grow sales of televisions, home appliances and mobile phones divisions.
