Agartala, May 5 : Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar will deal with 17 election rallies in Tamil Nadu and Kerala to canvass votes for the CPI-M, get together sources mentioned right here on Thursday.
Sarkar, a politburo member of the Communist Celebration of India-Marxist (CPI-M), left on Thursday for Chennai to participate within the election marketing campaign within the two poll-bound states.
A CPI-M chief stated Sarkar would tackle eight election rallies in Tamil Nadu and 9 in Kerala throughout his eight-day tour to the 2 states.
The polling for electing the 140-member Kerala meeting and 234-member Tamil Nadu is to be held on May 16.
