Chandigarh, May 1: Extreme conditions moved up on Sunday, with Haryana’s Hisar city sizzling at forty four.7 degrees Celsius, four degrees higher than normal.

Heat wave conditions prevailed over Punjab and Haryana with most temperatures recorded at over forty degrees at the most places. The minimum was between twenty and twenty five degrees.

Hisar sizzling at 44Narnaul city in Haryana recorded a high of forty two.3 degrees, weather department officers added here.

Chandigarh recorded a high of forty one.1 degrees, four degrees higher than normal condition.

Ludhiana was the most popular in Punjab at 43.2 degrees. Amritsar and Patiala recorded highs of 42.3 and 41.9 degrees respectively.

Met officers added the warmth wave can continue and weather can mostly stay dry over future twenty four to forty eight hours.
